Marine Miocene Collection II
The Marine Miocene Collection II consists of the subcollection “Fauna of Miocene deposits of the southern slope of the Zagreb Mountain,” which contains fossil invertebrate fauna, among which bivalves, gastropods, and brachiopods are the most abundant. The specimens were collected from various localities of the Zagreb Mountain. Their age corresponds to the Miocene period (approximately 18 to 5 million years ago). The collection was assembled and identified by D. Gorjanović-Kramberger.
