Kozulić butterfly collection
The origin of the collection is not known. It is known that it was transferred to the Croatian Natural History Museum from natural history material originating from Bosiljevo Castle, and that part of it was created through the collecting activities of the Kozulić family, who purchased the castle at the beginning of the 20th century.
The part of the collection containing tropical butterflies has aesthetic value, while the part collected by Kozulić reflects the state of the fauna of that time and is highly valuable because it allows comparison with present-day conditions.
