The Croatian Natural History Museum invites you to an educational trip on Saturday, 24 October: Klek and Ogulin.
The trip includes an ascent to the summit of Klek, 1,182 m, with a tour of the botanical and geological educational trail, a visit to the Speleological Educational Trail in the town of Ogulin, and, optionally, a visit to the House of Fairy Tales.
Preliminary Trip Plan
- Travel by private transport to Ogulin. We recommend departing from Zagreb no later than 8:00 a.m.
- 10:00 — gathering in Ogulin. The exact meeting location will be sent on Friday to interested participants.
- 10:00 – 14:00 — travel by private transport to Bjelsko, followed by a hike to the summit of Klek and back, with interpretation of geological and botanical features
- 14:00 – 16:00 — rest and refreshment break in town
- 16:00 – 17:00 — tour of the Speleological Educational Trail in town
- 17:00 — visit to the House of Fairy Tales and return to Zagreb
