Perfection of Evolution – Unveiling

The exhibition “Perfection of Evolution – Unveiling” was presented at the Museums of Hrvatsko Zagorje from 22 November 2018 to 3 February 2019.
The exhibition explores remarkable visual similarities between insects and minerals through large-format photographs comparing beetles from the renowned Mikšić Beetle Collection with minerals from the Croatian Natural History Museum’s mineralogical and petrological collections. Combining natural history with artistic photography, it reveals how colours, patterns, textures, and forms found in beetles and minerals can closely resemble one another, offering visitors a fresh perspective on the beauty and diversity of nature.
