About the Exhibition
The exhibition presents a series of photographs from the Croatian Natural History Museum
taken about ten years ago, before the museum was damaged by the earthquake.
The museum has recently been renovated, but this exhibition preserves the memory
of the former exhibition layout, which no longer exists in its previous form.
These exceptional photographs offer valuable memories of the spaces and exhibits
that once shaped the recognizable identity of the old Croatian Natural History Museum display.

About the Author
Ivica Lajtner is a photographer with extensive long-term experience. He has worked
for various magazines and newspapers, including Arena, Globus,
and Playboy.
He has held more than thirty solo exhibitions and is the author of three photo
monographs from Karlovac County — Mostovi, Utvrde i kurije,
and Crkve.
