Opening of the construction site and beginning of the Museum renovation

After 175 years, the dream of generations of naturalists begins to come true; the project of renovating and reconstructing the Amadeo Palace, home of the Croatian Natural History Museum, is beginning.
We are pleased to invite you to the ceremonial opening of the construction site of the currently largest infrastructure project in culture in the City of Zagreb, on Monday, 20 December 2021 at 10:00, at the Croatian Natural History Museum, Demetrova Street 1.
The start of the works is taking place as part of the EU project “Heritage Guardian as a Catalyst for Development, Research and Learning – the new Croatian Natural History Museum”, marking the 35th anniversary of the unification of three museums into today’s Croatian Natural History Museum.
