On the occasion of the ceremonial handover, an exhibition of the donated material was set up in the exhibition space on the first floor of the museum, selected by Mr. Jančiković and documentalist Marina Višić Vranjković, together with fossil flora from the CNHM holdings, selected by collection curator Tamara Đerek.

On behalf of the guest – recipient: Prof. Hrvoje Špicer, Director of MBP.
Donor: Mr. Božidar Jančiković, Dipl. Eng.
The ceremonial signing of the Donation Agreement, the presentation of the membership card and letter of thanks to the donor, with the topic Culture of Donation, was presented by Branimir Ivić.
In May of this year, Mr. Božidar Jančiković, the legal heir to the legacy of Professor Gjuro Pilar, contacted us with the wish to donate it and entrust it to the Croatian Natural History Museum for safekeeping.
Therefore, at the beginning of June this year, we visited Mr. Jančiković to inspect the material and agree on the details of the handover procedure.
After that, at the proposal of the head of the Geological and Paleontological Department, the Museum Director appointed a committee to list the material, consisting of librarian Darija Ćaleta, curator Sanja Japundžić and documentalist Marina Višić Vranjković.
The committee completed its work on June 10 this year and submitted the record and inventory of the material to the museum secretariat for the preparation of a draft donation agreement.
In September, all provisions of the agreement were agreed upon, and the conditions were met for its signing and the handover of the material.
