Hymenoptera (Hymenoptera) collection

The collection consists primarily of dry-preserved specimens, with a smaller proportion of wet-preserved specimens, of hymenopterans (Insecta: Hymenoptera). The material originates predominantly from Croatia and the former Yugoslavia, as well as from various European countries, Turkey, and the Caucasus, and spans the period from the 1880s to the present day (19th, 20th, and 21st centuries).

Most of the material has been studied and published in the works of Korlević (1890), Fink (1923), Vogrin (1955), and Van der Zanden and Perović, both of whom authored multiple publications based on this material.
