Mineral paragenesis of the Trepča/Stari Trg mine collection
The collection consists of mineral specimens from one of the oldest and most significant European lead and zinc mines—Trepča/Stari Trg in Kosovo. It contains unique specimens of crystal druses representing diverse combinations of minerals from a mineral paragenesis in which around 80 mineral species have been identified so far. The most abundant among them are minerals from the classes of sulfides and sulfosalts, as well as carbonates, sulfates, phosphates, silicates, oxides, and halides.
