The collection was formed over a long period through the collecting activities of Imbro Igalffy and his son Konstantin Igalffy, preparator and curator. Geiger and Kozulić beetle collection (Insecta, Coleoptera)

The collection consists of exotic beetle specimens collected in Oriental and tropical regions, systematically arranged in entomological boxes. It was formed by merging the collection of Austro-Hungarian official Vincenz Geiger with material from the Kozulić family, with both components sharing exceptional aesthetic value.
