Abstract
During 2003, entomological investigations were carried out into the sawflies (Hymenoptera, Symphyta) of Kopa~ki rit Nature Park, supported by the Ministry of Culture, project Insect Research, and by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports project Entomofauna of Kopa~ki rit. At three groups of stations: inundated, forest and open ground (a total of 8 stations) a total of 220 individuals were sampled selectively with a net and with sticky tablets. From this material, 73 species of sawfly were determined. There is a clear differentiation of the inundated area at which the presence of only 15 species was recorded, but with great abundance, 7 species being recorded only in such kind of habitat (they were recorded only in the inundated area). This investigation also demonstrated that the borderline area between forest and meadow was the best habitat for the sawfly. At this kind of station in Tikve{, the presence of 35 species was recorded.

Abstract
The paper reviews data published over a long period of time about the Adriatic sessile bivalves attached to living organisms, to various substrates and objects in the sea. A total of 49 species of sessile bivalves from 22 families are recorded, mostly from the subclass Pteromorphia. Interesting examples of their settlement on various substrates and cases of settlement of other macrofaunal species on bivalve shells are discussed.

Abstract
In 2005 the variation of clutch size of tree sparrows Passer montanus was investigated in the Mokrice rural area, north-western Croatia. Average clutch size of first clutches was 5.00 eggs (SD = 0.62), of the second 5.36 eggs (SD = 0.66) and of the third 4.86 eggs (SD = 0.71). Repeatability (r) of clutch size in first, second and third clutches (within-year) was significant (p = 0.005). This means that 33% of the variation in clutch size is due to intraindividual variation of genetic factors (intrinsic »female quality«).

Abstract
Festuca hercegovinica Markgr.-Dannenb. is an endemic Balkanic species, whose distribution area also encompasses the southernmost parts of Croatia. To date, its localities are known from the surroundings of Dubrovnik, i.e. the Konavle region with Mt Snije`nica and the island of [ipan. The general distribution and taxonomical level of this species are discussed, the general distribution in Croatia is completed, and a determination key for distinction from similar taxa is enclosed.

Abstract
Why the species Festuca arvernensis, endemic to S. C. and S. W. France, is quoted in the Index Florae Croaticae and in the Flora Croatica database is discussed. It is shown that the name was wrongly used for the endemic Illyrian-Adriatic species Festuca lapidosa.
