Virtual Herbarium

The Virtual Herbarium of the Croatian Natural History Museum is a database of photographed herbarium specimens from the Higher Plants Herbarium and the Trinajstić Herbarium. Only inventoried specimens are photographed, together with their labels and associated information. The Virtual Herbarium is regularly expanded as new specimens are processed. It provides specialists and the wider public with access to the herbarium while reducing unnecessary handling of the stored material.

How to search

Search herbarium specimens by entering a word or part of a word in any search field, then click “Search”. Several fields can be used at the same time. Searches are not case-sensitive.

How to cite
