The Croatian Natural History Museum Library is a specialist library with more than 50,000 volumes of scientific and professional literature, available to museum staff, researchers, and the wider public interested in natural history.
The “Collection of Old and Rare Natural History Books of the Croatian Natural History Museum” was established in 2011. It includes the oldest and most valuable monographic editions printed up to 1850. The oldest books in the collection were printed in Italy in the 17th century.
The library is managed by Darija Ćaleta, BSc in Biology, graduate librarian, senior library advisor.
