Abstract

The article treats of the association Lamio orvalae–Aceretum P. Ko{ir et Marin~ek 1999, which was found in the altimontane belt of the Dinaric region (Mt. Sne`nik, the Trnovski gozd plateau), and in the altimontane and montane belt of the Pre-Alpine region of Slovenia (Mt. Blego{, Kamni{ka Bistrica valley). The association was classified into the alliance of Illyrian noble hardwood forests Fraxino–Acerion Fukarek 1969. The stands of the association are in the synoptic table compared with other Illyrian maple associations and related Central European maple associations of the alliance Tilio–Acerion Klika 1955.
