Abstract

The subgenus Troglorhynchus Reitter, 1854 of the genus Otiorhynchus Germar, 1824 is redescribed, revised and differentiated from other subgenera of Otiorhynchus, which has the micro or anophthalmus species. T. anophthalmoides omeros Colonnelli, 2003, T. pretneri F. Solari, 1955 as well as T. celejensis G. Müller, 1924 are synonymized to T. anophthalmoides Reitter, 1914.
