Advent Courtyards
Croatian Natural History Museum

Hidden in the winter idyll of Zagreb’s Upper Town, in the charming Demetrova Street, decorated for Advent, warm, intimate, and romantic, filled with the scents and flavours of winter, cinnamon, cloves and mulled wine, rakijas and small sweet treats, accompanied by Christmas songs and daily live music, with plenty of entertainment, good wishes and joy – the Croatian Natural History Museum offers a truly special Advent experience unlike any you have had before.
Opening hours of the Croatian Natural History Museum courtyard during Advent:
Saturday, 3 December, opening – 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Until Friday, 23 December, every day – 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Exceptionally on Saturdays, 10 and 17 December – 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
The evening music programme in the Courtyards will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Saturdays also in an additional time slot from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Visitors to the courtyard will be able to visit the Croatian Natural History Museum every day until 9 p.m.
For visitors, we have organized free expert guided tours of our permanent displays and exhibitions, as well as various workshops.

Expert guided tours
Expert guided tours for the public through the permanent displays, Mineralogical-Petrographic and Zoological, will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 7 p.m., with prior registration at hpm@hpm.hr.
A minimum of 10 registered participants is required for a guided tour to be held!
