A Backpack (Full) of Culture 2022

The Croatian Natural History Museum once again participated in the national “A Backpack (Full) of Culture” programme with the educational workshops “Croatia’s Extinct Giants” and “The Kingdom of Minerals.”

As part of the programme, four mineral-themed workshops were held in Topusko for children from earthquake-affected areas. The workshop “Croatia’s Extinct Giants” was also presented in Nova Rača and on the islands of Rab, Dugi Otok, and Pašman.

Through interactive activities, participants explored Croatia’s rich natural heritage, discovered the fascinating world of minerals, and learned about extinct animals that once inhabited the region that is now Croatia.
