Educational Trip to Papuk Nature Park
Trip Plan
- 7:30 — departure by bus from Zagreb
- 10:30 – 11:00 — short presentation about Papuk Nature Park at the Park premises in Velika
- 11:00 – 14:00 — arrival at Jankovac mountain lodge and tour of the educational trails
- 14:00 – 16:00 — lunch at the mountain lodge, such as bean stew, shepherd’s stew, or participants’ own food, followed by rest and free time, including play on the meadow and children’s playground
- 16:00 – 18:00 — visit to the Rupnica geomorphological site and, depending on available time, the Old Oaks educational trail
- Around 21:00 — return to Zagreb
Registration for the trip and reservation of a seat on the bus, with a total of 34 seats available, is required no later than Thursday at 4:00 p.m. by email: damir.lackovic@hpm.hr and/or laura.popovac@vmd.hr. The bus price of HRK 175.00 should be paid to the account of VMD, IBAN HR3824840081100742085.
Since the bus price depends on the number of participants, if more than 31 people register, the bus price will be lower, HRK 145, and the difference will be refunded to your account. If the group has fewer than 26 participants, due to the high cost, bus transport will be cancelled and participants will use private cars instead.
Bus Price per Person
- 16–20 persons: HRK 285.00 per person
- 21–25 persons: HRK 215.00 per person
- 26–30 persons: HRK 175.00 per person
- 31–34 persons: HRK 145.00 per person
Participants should bring suitable footwear, such as hiking boots or sturdy trainers, and an umbrella or raincoat just in case. The forecast is currently sunny.
