Preliminary Trip Plan
Saturday, 1 June
- 10:00 — gathering in Buzet, with transport by private cars
- 10:00 – 18:00 — hiking along the Trail of Waterfalls, a 13 km trail, with educational interpretation of rocks, fossils, flora, and fauna, including a lunch break in nature
- 18:00 – 19:00 — drive by car to Baredine Cave near Poreč
- 19:00 — accommodation and dinner
Overnight stay is possible free of charge in participants’ own tents and sleeping bags on the grounds of Baredine Cave, or independently arranged in apartments in the nearby village of Nova Vas.
Sunday, 2 June
- 9:00 – 11:00 — tour of Baredine Cave, the “Tractor Story” exhibition, and the “Konobon” gallery
- 11:00 – 12:30 — drive to Istrian Spa, with a short visit to the Butori swallow hole
- 12:30 – 16:00 — hiking in the area around Istrian Spa
- 16:00 — rest and return home
