About the Exhibition

The exhibition “Insects” presents the rich insect collections
of the Croatian Natural History Museum, some of which have been preserved since
the 19th century.

It presents representative specimens of beetles, butterflies, orthopterans,
and other insects preserved in more than 20 museum collections.

This fascinating exhibition opened the doors of the new Croatian Natural History Museum,
offering insight into the world of insects, their abundance, diversity, and importance
for the functioning of ecosystems.
