🌿 Energy in Nature – Discovering Ecosystems Through Play

As part of the Science Festival, we invite children to join an interactive workshop where, through play and exploration, we will discover how energy travels through nature and living organisms.

How do organisms obtain energy? What do animals use it for? And can energy “disappear” within an ecosystem? 🤔
Together, we will explore these questions through educational games, discussion, and collaborative research activities.

📍 Location: Museum Workshop, Croatian Natural History Museum, Demetrova 1, Zagreb

🧬🔍 Natural History Discoveries – Big Scientific Ideas Through Play

Through games and exploration, participants will try to uncover which scientific discoveries are being presented, who the scientists behind them were, and in which historical period they emerged.

Special emphasis will be placed on discoveries important for the development of natural sciences and the collections of the Croatian Natural History Museum.

This workshop offers a short but dynamic insight into the key stages of natural history development through active participation, play, and curiosity.

🦴🦖 Who’s Hiding Behind the Fossils?

How do scientists reconstruct the appearance of dinosaurs, megalodons, and other long-extinct yet fascinating species based on fossil remains? 🤔

Through hands-on work with original fossils and replicas, participants will discover animals that once inhabited our region and step into the role of paleontologists by reconstructing their appearance themselves.
