“Gutta cavat lapidem”
Constant dripping wears away the stone. You are kindly invited to the opening
ceremony of the traditional GEA exhibition.
About the Exhibition
The exhibition features photographic works by members and friends of the Croatian
Geological Society, which is also the organizer.
It consists of 40 selected photographs symbolizing the passage of time and the
power of nature.
Through their lenses, the authors captured traces of water in landscapes and stone —
through rain, rivers, streams, droplets, and other forms of interaction between
water and rock.
Competition and Voting
Visitor voting
The exhibition is competitive in nature. Visitors are invited to select their
three favorite photographs and place their votes in the voting box.
Humanitarian Aspect
Charity auction
The exhibition also has a humanitarian purpose. Funds raised through the auction
of photographs at the annual assembly of the Croatian Geological Society will be
donated to the association Kap u moru from Korčula, which supports
children with special educational needs.
