Animals that are now extinct or have long since disappeared from Croatia were once common inhabitants of this region. We know this from their preserved remains – bones and teeth.
Their remains are often discovered in caves and pits, where favourable conditions allow them to be preserved for long periods. Join us to discover which animals once lived in Croatia, where their remains were found, and how they were researched and excavated.
Advance registration is required.
