Based on known records and recent observations, this short communication updates the distribution of the broad-bordered bee hawk moth in Croatia. New localities were recorded at Strmendolac and Vinine in Split-Dalmatia County.

New faunistic and distributional data are provided for the scorpion fauna of the Oriental region of Morocco. The study records 119 specimens belonging to eight species and recognizes twelve species from four genera in the region.

Xiphydria prolongata is reported from Greece for the first time. Its distribution, ecology and collection site in a mixed riparian forest of the northeastern Peloponnese are documented.

Bryological surveys in Mt. Papuk identified two significant sites with acidophilic forests and peat mosses. Several taxa are recorded for the first time from Croatia and the sites are discussed as important bryophyte habitats.

The current knowledge of Euphorbia sect. Anisophyllum in Croatia is reviewed using literature, herbarium material, database records and field observations. Two species are reported for the first time and one recently published record is confirmed.

Microhabitat use and parental care of the endemic frog Hyloxalus cepedai are described from the Andean foothills of the Colombian Llanos. The observations contribute information about a vulnerable species with a restricted distribution.

The first records of the North American grass Glyceria striata in Croatia are reported from Gorski Kotar and the Zagreb area. The species is classified as a naturalized neophyte and should be monitored.

The study presents 77 new Lepidoptera species for Mljet, bringing the documented total to 121 species from 19 families. Oxyptilus laetus is recorded in Croatia for the first time in nearly 90 years.

Field surveys confirmed three reptile species previously undocumented in Učka Nature Park: Elaphe quatuorlineata, Pseudopus apodus and Hemidactylus turcicus. The findings expand the known reptile fauna of the park.
